New two times
« on: November 08, 2010, 12:14:22 pm »
Hi all, i have been the proud owner of my thermomix for 3 days... or as my 3 year old calls it, the sorbet maker!!  I have never been a good cook, or enjoyed cooking.... however i am having fun with my new toy.
I have never been a member of a forum, blog etc... so amy pretty green here too.
Cheers
kez

Welcome kez.  Plenty of us were green when we joined this forum but what we didn't know, we soon learnt with the help of our computer literate members.  This forum is not all about food, we share and learn all sorts of things here.  It is lovely to hear people who don't particularly like cooking, do enjoy using the TMX and I'm sure the family really appreciate all the different meals coming their way.  Continue to have fun, join in whenever you can.

Welcome kezza00. Great to have you join us. Don't worry about being a forum "greenie". There are a few of us on here- I'm one  ;D This is still the only forum i belong to (is that even the correct terminology ?)

Hi kez,
How exciting! You must be having a ball.
We all learn from each other on here.  I've learnt loads and I'm not that literate with computer stuff but I'm on a rapid learning curve.
Enjoy the ride!!!

Hi and welcome kez. What are some of the things you have made in your TMX so far apart from sorbet?
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

I have made the stroganoff from the cook book, but used chicken.  It was a bit runny, flavour yumo, ;D so next time i will cut down on the liquid.  Also, made the tuna with pasta, the pasta was a bit soft.. but really tasty.  Tonight i made some custard... so things are going well, and i can see how you need to just try the recipes and adapt to your liking.
