Major dinner party success

I am so EXCITED! I had my first Thermomix dinner party last night and it was a complete success!! I am not a great cook, but during the week I made the tikka paste from the Indian book and it was FAB, so I thought, I am NOT getting takeaway for my family party, I am COOKING... With my husbands help we made Prawn Masala and Rogan Josh, plus we had heaps of Tikka paste left over so Chicken Tikka as well.. Plus I made the Naan bread and a mango sorbet, and capsicum/sundried tomato dip and garlic and herb dip... Everyone was very impressed!!! Yay Dobby (as we have christened our thermie)

Well done Meegles. I'm glad Dobby worked hard. I really love the name and wish I had thought of it.

Thanks, mine has been Termite for 2 years so I don't think I could give him a name change.

Sounds like a great menu for a family party - we have the outlaws coming for dinner on the weekend and I am thinking I will not only pinch your menu but pinch the name Dobby for my TM, too!
I used to get called Dobby around here (not happy jan), so happy to hand the 'honour' to my bimby!
cheers

That's great to hear! Awesome that it went off so well.
I have Herman, but I love 'Dobby' as a name.

A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.
