Mine have decided that orange, banana and pineapple is the flavour of the month at the moment, they are also enjoying it with a good handful of strawberries when I can get them  ;)

Now that the days are milder, it is time to get into the juices again.  I have frozen pineapple, strawberries and banana Kathryn so would I not need to use ice cubes (just replace them with more water). I am not looking for a thick drink.

You shouldn't need ice JD if you have frozen the fruit. I use the ice if using fresh fruit just to help break it up and emulsify it smooth. I freeze a lot of my fruit too. Pineapple can make your drinks fluffy (think fluffy duck cocktail lol) but find if it is frozen it is fine.

Thanks Kathryn, we will have one whilst watching the grand final this afternoon. At least DH can share this drink with me whereas I have to drink the cocktails all on my own  :-)) :-)) ;D ;D

Our family have been enjoying the carrot and orange juice recipe from the EDC (essentially Faffa's recipe) this week and I was wondering if anyone had tried milling nuts, like almonds, first and then adding the fruit and ice. I'm hopinh it might add a sweet nutty flavour, make it creamier, and of course add some protein to the drink too??

Any thoughts? anyone tried it?
