My DH had been on at me for a few weeks after getting the TMX to go and have a look at an iPad, as he thought I should have one in the kitchen (I had been keeping the laptop in the kitchen). I was really surprised as I just spent $2000 on the TMX. He was going to buy it for Xmas. Well, about a week ago our 10yo DD won one in the school raffle (well it was her name called out but I just bought the book of tickets putting our family's names on each one - so the iPad is for the whole family  ). Talk about good timing, as DH told me afterwards that he almost bought one that very day. So when we buy a cover for the iPad, it will take place close-ish to the TMX in the kitchen. Just have to work out what to use as a recipe book on the iPad (rather than printing out the recipes I want to use).

Thank you all - I have very much enjoyed reading over the posts in this thread and given that it is close to 1am and sleep eludes I may be challenging some addicts records.

hi, my name is nicky and i have been an addict for 2 weeks, it has been 20 hours since my last fix!
wow virgo9, how lucky to have won an ipad! my dad just told me about these tonight, but i bought a netbook only a few months ago so i wont be getting one, but they sound fantastic!
yes, it is almost 1am for me too, so i must turn out the light also!

Gosh 1 am. How do you do it. I was about an hour later than normal last night and I think I need a 'nanny' nap this afternoon. Perhaps it is my age??
