Great idea Chookie if you have all the right sized items.  I had put moulds onto a kitchenware shopping list but looked in my cupboards and found a ramekin alternative (so saved myself some money there). Don't think I have anything that would fit over the ramekin though.

ILB - they are a little fiddly so make them the day before. It was fun though.  I took one around to Mum and wrote down for her that she had to fill it with icecream, top with strawberries and the chocolate sauce (the only thing I didn't take around was the ice-cream).  Today when I went around it was still sitting on the kitchen cupboard, she picked it up and said how clever I was.  I said 'Mum, you are supposed to eat it, not admire it!'  Bless her.

Just like when you were in school !!  :-* :-*  She'll probably just keep it to show her friends how clever her daughter is !!!

I can't wait until dessert tonight.  I have a batch of EDC vanilla icecream (whipped 3 times) in the freezer, chocolate sauce and chopped strawberries in the fridge and crepe baskets in the oven finishing off.  Heaven!  Thanks JD :-*.  I already love this recipe and I haven't even tasted them yet.  :D

Can't wait to see your photo Chelsea - I didn't know how to post photos back when I did this recipe.

Oh JD I am sorry.  We were all so excited to "tuck in" that we didn't even think of taking a photo.  They looked absolutely beautiful though and were very delicious.  I will be buying some smaller ramekins though because the baskets were a bit too big.  I might even make really small crepes and use my biggest muffin tray (upside down).   :)
