Hello all,
i'm a mum of one from OZ, my DD(15months) has an egg allergy as well as dairy intollerant.
i would prefer to cook more without additives and preservatives, so i'm going to a TMX party on tues... i went to one a few years ago but couldn't get over the price
lol... but now with DD's allergies it seems like acceptable price to pay for the savings ease it will make in the long run
look forward to meeting you all and gaining lots of TMX knowlege
how exciting that there is a forum for TMX!!!

Hi and welcome Stella 84. I'm sure a thermomix would help you with your daughter's food preparation a lot. You will know everything that she is eating. As you say they do cost a lot but if you can afford it, it will be worth it for peace of mind.

Hi Stella,
My friend has had her tmx a few days now (since thursday), and can't stop raving about it. It has totally changed her life as she, too, has a daughter with allergies - egg, dairy and soy. By getting the tmx, she is able to make rice milk, which will save her heaps (she buys organic rice milk which is $8 a litre!) and make sure none of the food her daughter eats has been contaminated with allergens. She is saving so much time as well because she is able to set the tmx to cook so she can go and do something else. I hope you enjoy the same benefits the tmx has given her.
Welcome to the forum.

You can't put a price on your health. The stress you would have of worrying whats in the food your buy will be eliminated completely with your own TMX. The things you can make for you daughter will amaze you.
I hope you enjoy learning from all the talented and knowledgable people on the forum.. Some of them have similar allergy restrictions as you and are more than willing to help out with advice and tips.
Good luck on your TMX journey what ever you decide to do.
