Got my Bimby from Italy, will be using it in Istanbul...
« on: November 17, 2010, 09:36:09 pm »
Hi everyone!
I am from Istanbul Turkey and have a daughter who is training to be a cook. I claim to have bought the TM31 for her but ..  ;)

I saw the TM21 at my Italian teachers and decided immediately that I should also have one. She was kind enough to but it for me in Italy and post it to me. I finally have it and I am soooo excited!! I have the Italian cookbook and have tried some recipes.

I joined this forum so that I could learn from your experience and maybe share some Turkish recipes when I have tried them. At the moment I am only keeping to the book...

Welcome!
LOL so will you be fighting with your daughter over the thermomix then!
Lovely of your Italian teacher to help you get this awesome appliance.
I love Turkish food so looking forward to any recipes you post when you get around to converting - it's really quite easy once you have grasped the basics.

Hello Bimbici, welcome to the forum.  You will enjoy your time here with this friendly, helpful group of people all with an undying love for their Thermomix.  We have a Turkish lady on here (farfallina) who lives in Italy - she is a prolific recipe poster  and also has her own blog so check out her recipes http://thermomixtarifdefterim.blogspot.com/ or find them on the forum. Looking forward to your contributions.
