It was a great demo, and a small group of great girls.
I think one of my friends is going to buy one, so I should get a second jug 1/2 price, and I bought the meat book & cindy's  ;)

Good to hear you had a good time - what did you think of the FSA book ?  Did you buy it too?

I think I get the FSA book free, if someone purchases  :-\ ?
I don't think the majority of the recipes would entice me to purchase the book solely, but there is a few things I would like to try, and the steaming guidelines and information will help me get more familiar I guess.

I agree - the guide and bits at the front of the book are handy.  I don't have the book, but it looks very useful for getting the basic times etc.

For each portion of salmon I make a little dish with alfoil and set these with the salmon in on the tray of the varoma. I put whatever vegies will cook in 20 min in the bottom. I put rice in the basket. Fill bowl with 500 ml water. add salt to rice to your taste.
Season the salmon with a teaspoon soy on each, a dollop (about a teaspoon or 2) of butter, and a heaped teaspoon of brown sugar.
Time 20 minutes, Speed 4, varoma temp.

Cooked my salmon today using these instructions ozzy-dj - they were only small portions of 125g each so 8 minutes was plenty of time for them.  De-licious, thanks so much for sharing with us.

I used Ozzy's recipe too this evening (except that I forgot the sugar), and my eldest declared it the "best fish ever!", while my youngest gave it the "top score ever". We will definitely be doing this again as I find it really hard to get the children to eat salmon.

Thanks Ozzy!
