Just getting started

Hi forum,
I have been the owner of a Thermomix for a couple of years, I'm a bit of a gadget freak and buy almost anything new, but I was so busy in business that i never got around to learning how to use it and so have only made a couple of things so far.
Friends with the machine are all loving it, but I think I've been a bit lazy at learning to do things another way.
I have time now so googled around and found this site and so I have decided to get it out and start using it, and have seen quite a few things in here that I want to try.
Thanks for this forum it's such a great idea

Hi Jan, poor Thermie shut in a cupboard for 2 years
So glad you found us & I do hope this forum inspires you to leave him out on the bench and use him daily like the rest of us - or several times a day for the bulk of us. What do you think you are going to start with?

Thanks everyone for the welcome and encouragement, when I bought the TM I went home and made the Beany pasta recipe that was used at the demo, nice, and a sorbet, and a disaster porridge, I then put it away and went back to my old ways, although recently I got it out and did a hommous.
Judydawn I have decided to make today the Chicken Zucchini recipe I saw on here, and tomorrow my sister is coming to visit and show me some of her tricks.

Nice that you have a sister with one too Jannikins - she will get you moving again I am sure. Is she a forum member too?

Yes Judy she is but I see she has only ever made a couple of posts, but she says she refers to the site for ideas.
My Chicken Zucchini thingys are in the oven now, I will let you know how they turn out. I just came back to find the zucchini brownie recipe as I have picked the zucchinis they are on my list to find things for, I have made a chocolate zucchini cake before and it is very good.
