Egg-free ice cream: is there such a thing

Hi everyone
I'm starting to expand my TMX adventures to making sweets/desserts. Have made the American Brownie recipe from this site, and it went down a treat.
Next: Ice Cream. I've seen many recipes, all of which need egg yolks. Can someone recommend a recipe for ice cream that doesn't require egg yolks? e.g. using Milk/Cream/Yoghurt?
I've got some mago that i would love to turn into ice cream!
thanks.

I don't have a specific recipe but I use Bird's dessert powder to make ice cream without egg yolks (for people who have egg allergies)
I just use 2 packets of the powder to a quart of cream, 1/4 cup of Splenda/Sugar baking mix and whatever flavors I want.
I don't use the TMX but you should be able to easily.
I just mix everything together, heat till it starts to boil, reduce the heat and bit and stir till it begins to thicken. At this point I put it in the ice cream machine container, put it in the fridge for 30 minutes to cool and then into the ice cream machine.
One of my neighbors uses Jell-O vanilla pudding to make a basic ice cream.

I have found plenty of ices that don't include eggs. Here is one example that I have used regularly. I often make ice creams that have alcohol added because it prevents it from becoming so hard that you can't get it out of the tub.
chocolate orange frozen yoghurt
450 g natural yoghurt
250 ml milk
100 g caster sugar
125 ml double cream
25 g cocoa powder (unsweetened)
75 g dark chocolate (cut into chips)
1 juice and rind of 1 orange (finely grated)
dash of Cointreau® (optional)
1 Sieve cocoa, then combine with sugar, using a splash of milk to form a paste.
2 Warm the remaining milk until just below boiling, add to the mixture and stir until dissolved.
3 When completely cool, add the orange juice, rind and Cointreau.
4 Fold in the yoghurt and cream, transfer to an ice cream maker, and churn until it reaches the desired consistency.
5 Stir in the chocolate chips and serve.

I should have altered the procedure of the above recipe for use in the Thermomix. You would of course grate the rind first and then it is a simple procedure of mixing, heating and mixing again. So quick to make!

Just saw this post - thanks for your nice comments CC!
I was just going to suggest the banana ice cream!!
Another idea is to make an egg-free custard, partially freeze it, re-whip in tmx, then freeze. My kids enjoy that. You can use any flavour of custard - we like chocolate! (Of course!)
