Hi,
My name is Denise and I should be receiving my Thermomix tomorrow. I live in the United States and discovered the Thermomix when I was researching the new Cuisinart soup maker. I have a two year old boy and a 3 month old girl. I want them to grow up eating healthy food, and from what I read the ,Thermomix looks like a great way to do that. I already bought the ingredients to make the zucchini brownies and the Tom Ka Gai soup. Since I live in the USA I don't have the benefit of seeing any demos so I hope they turn out well. I'm really impressed at how helpful members of this site are to the newbies!

Hi Denise, welcome to the friendly forum. You will get all the help you need here if you have any problems. We have heard a bit about the Cuisinart soup maker here on this forum so good to hear you chose the TMX over it as you will will be able to do so many more things with the Thermomix. Have fun and let us know how you are getting on, what you are cooking etc.

Welcome!! Thermomix Blogger from Canada showed us the Cuisinart soup maker on here last week and said she thought it would bring more light to TMX - so you have proved her right! You certainly are doing the right thing for your little family. You can watch some demos on Utube - there are quite a few. Let us know how you go when TMX turns up.

Hi Denise and welcome to the forum. I am not sure what recipe book you will get with your TM, the EDC in Australian does have a few mistakes. I always check on here first in the

Welcome Denise,
I live in California so we are sort of "neighbors" - so to speak.
There are quite a few videos of the TMX in use on YouTube and I suggest you visit the blog of "our Helene" who was instrumental in me getting my TMX.
