Energy Australia no bill in 11 months
« on: March 23, 2013, 02:21:31 pm »
Hi all, some interesting info... we joined energy Australia in April 2012 and have yet to receive a bill even though I have called them numerous times...
Well tonight I saw on their website that any bills that cover a period longer than 9 months won't be charged!
Win!
:D

Sounds like a win to me.

Awesome.
Local paper this week had a man who hasn't received a bill from energy Australia for ages too. When he rang and checked, they told him he was in credit $1,400 due to his solar panels. He doesn't have solar panels!

Love it. We only get credits now, but we do have solar panels. We worked out that we should get our money back in about 6/7 years.

Update: we ended up with a bill and received free power for nine months over the summer period! We saved over $1000 easy through their lateness. Yay!

Very lucky. It isn't often we can outdo bureaucracy.

We love our solar panels too last year we took a credit of about $1200 from them and this year we have a credit of over $1300 which we will take soon. No more bills and a credit as well. We think we will cover the initial purchase cost in 4-5 years.
