Best recipe books

Hi all,

Im just about to purchase my Thermomix can anyone tell me how many thermomix recipe books there are and which ones are the best? also can you buy used ones?

There are alot of recipe books, but I personally find I use more recipes off this forum than out of the books.

Have a look at the 'recipe book review' section for a list of books and reviews so you can twas a bit about the books and what other people honestly think about them. I've had my tmx for four months and have used the Everyday Cookbook and this forum. Now I know what I like and have ordered a couple more.

I also use the forum more than the books but I've done more out of Tenina's For Food's Sake and Alyce's Quick Fix in the Thermomix than any other books.  If you are a bookaholic though like most of us, you will end up with pretty well all of them   Once you start converting your own recipes, your world's an oyster as you will have a never ending supply of recipes.  We also have a section with links to Thermomix owners' blogs - some great recipes to find there too.  Here's a list of the rest of the books available to purchase.

Ditto to all of the above. Judy has really covered it. Aprt from the EDC which you receive with the machine it may be worth waiting a while and seeing what you like to cook and what books would be of use to you. This forum is a superb supplier of recipes and they are tried and true. I do think Tenina's book and Alyce's book are musts.

Last time I counted there was 18.  Yep - just checked 18!!!  I am hopeless, I know.  If I hear about a new one I just have to have it - just in case there is something in there I like 

I have to say though - this forum is amazing and has every recipe you could want (and then some).  Have a look here first - you may just save yourself some money!!!

Agree with what has been already said.  You may also like to try this.  If there is something in particular you wish to make, Google the subject and put Thermomix at the end.   However be warned,  you may not get feedback like you will with recipes from this Forum.

Good luck! That interest free option can be tricky. I know of a couple - both were teachers, who were knocked back! I prefer the Easy Three.

Add to the ones everyone mentioned, the only actual TMX book I would buy would be the Indian Cookery one, assuming you like Indian food!

I also love Dani Valent's In the Mix. It's fancy, but it's just so gorgeous! Tenina's Dinner Spinner is also worth having.

dawnmackie, it's probably a little late but Commonwealth has a 5 month interest free period on one of their credit cards at the  moment. That would be a cheaper option that going through interest free with TMX as there are no fees. They are even waving the annual account fee ($49) to qualifying customers. A few of the banks of got these offers at the moment in the build up to Christmas so worth doing a google check.
