Seafood Bounty - Wonton Pastry

Has anyone made the wonton pastry from Seafood Bounty...?  Any tips or tricks..?

I'm afraid I've made very little from that book.

I just buy gow gee wrappers from an Asian supermarket - have a packet in the freezer just in case I need them.

I haven't tried as the wrappers are so cheap & convenient as JD says.

I made them last week for the prawn wontons. They were delicious. I didn't have the starch so I just milled some sago. I thought it would be grainy at first and possibly a bit thick, but it turned out fine. The starch will give it an even silkier texture. They were so easy make. We'll be making them again.
