Meat pie filling for pie maker

Name of Recipe:Meat pie filling for pie maker
Number of People:
Ingredients:
Garlic 2 teaspoons
1 cup of mince
1cup of water
1 tablespoon of tomato paste
Spinach I used 1 frozen cube
1 tablespoon of flour I used corn flour
1 tablespoon of capsicum jam optional
Salt and pepper



Preparation:
Add garlic to bowl cook 1min on 100 and soft  :-:
Set for 20mins on 100 and soft speed  :-:, add mince through the hole small amounts at a time (about 2mins) add water and paste

Add flour add cook for 20mins on 100 and soft  :-:

I know what you are think why 1 cup of mince, I am silly did not think to weigh with the basket on top of lid .I thought it was to late to weigh it. ;D

Tips/Hints:
It did burn the bowl. I think I will mix the flour with a little water next time :-\

It is an electric 'gadget' that you put pastry into, then the pie filling and then pastry on top and close the machine and it cooks the pie for you. They usually make 2 or 4 pies at a time.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

I always save my left over spaghetti bolognaise to use a second night in the pie maker!
Mum to 5 gorgeous kids, 3 bio aged 22,20 and 15, and 2 adopted aged 7 and 2.

*chuckles* and there I was just looking to see if someone had done a Mince Tart (what we call mince meat & pastry, in Northern Ireland) recipe for the Thermomix. I love serving it with Lemony Cous Cous as a contrast.

Recipe is slightly different than I'm used too, more used to poss carrot and onion in it and no Spinach, otherwise the same (stock and red wine also optional extras). Thanks for sharing.

Off to find a puff pastry recipe now :)

Yes I normally add veggies and curry  to but I think it’s nice to have a basic recipe on forums
For the young ones that do not know where to start from.
 Would be nice to have a basic recipe section
