I just made this for my breakfast tomorrow morning.  Thought I'd have a taste and drank the lot.  I've always been a comfort eater and the kids are driving me nuts!!!

At least I've comforted eaten something ultra healthy and fortunately I still have enough oats, bananas etc to make some more tomorrow morning.  Note to self - never, EVER make this in advance!   ;D

I just made this for me and my 2 school kids, it was a lovely change to the milky ones I usually make and the kids just loved it. I have no bananas left atm so I used frozen mulberries instead, it was like a thick sorbet or something, yum, and it made enough for all 3 of us. Thanks for the recipe!

Each!? wow! lol. My little girl does not have much though, she is not a big eater so it's nice to get anything in to her at all in the mornings lol

Now that we are about to face a banana shortage, how do you think this would work with (reconstituted) dried bananas?

I found some bananas cheap, peeled and froze them, can then just pop them straight in the shake.
(Also kids discovered that a couple of bananas with a dash of milk on speed 9 for about 20 seconds is like banana ice-cream) yum!

I do that too Caroline, but had run out today.
Cuilidh I just used other fruit that I had in the freezer, in this case it was mulberries, and it was still really nice.
