Salmon and Corn BakeServes 4-6Ingredients350g pasta
100g butter
1/3 cup plain flour (50g)
2 cups milk
2 stalks celery, finely chopped
3 spring onions
4 rashers bacon, chopped
310g corn
50g spinach
½ cup parsley
juice of ½ lemon
150g smoked salmon
1 cup cheese, grated
Cook pasta and place in thermoserver. Grate cheese and set aside. Chop parsley.
Chop celery, onion and bacon to the size you want in bowl. It's best left fairly chunky.
Add 10g butter and cook 100for 2-3 minutes. Stir through corn, reverse 5 seconds, speed 1.
Add to pasta in thermoserver and stir through.
Melt 90g of butter in
. Add the flour and cook 100C for 1 minute speed 1.
Add milk and cook at 100until the sauce thickens.Speed 2. This will depend on the temperature of your milk.
Simmer at 100, speed 2 for an extra minute. Add to mixture in the thermoserver.Add chopped parsely,spinach and lemon juice. Give it a stir through.
Spoon half the mixture into a casserole dish. Top with half the salmon. Add rest of pasta mix and the rest of the salmon. Sprinkle with cheese and bake at 200 for 15-20 minutes.
Serve with salad.
I cut this recipe from a magazine. It is very tasty. I didn't write the conversion as I did it-it's from memory. Hope it's correct.

1/3 cup flour = 50g
2 cups milk = 500g
1 cup grated cheese = 80g
When making the bechamel sauce, and adding the milk - cooked it at 90oC until the sauce thickened which was approx 6 mins, Speed 4. (Didn't simmer for the extra minute either)
