After reading this thread I wondered what it would be like if you had two eating apples plus one granny smith.  For those who can remember this soup, do you think that might work to counteract the sweetness?  Also thinking of using coconut cream (as we are dairy free), any thoughts from anyone on how this might work?

I just use any eating apples that I have at the time Cuilidh and I can't see why using coconut cream would'nt work.  Just give it a try you might end up with a new recipe. :D
