Hi, I'm Kim and I'm new here
My thermomix arrived yesterday as a total surprise for me. I've been wanting one for so long but my husband claimed that he couldn't see the value in it. Imagine my surprise when there was a knock at my front door yesterday with such an awesome gift!
I had a good play yesterday making some easy things but now I'm going to find some recipes and really put it to the test. My goal is to cook healthy foods for my 3 kids with no added colours, flavours, preservatives and other added nasties.
I'm looking forward to getting to know people and trying lots of new, yummy foods.

Hi Kim, welcome to the forum. What a great husband you've got - gotta love men who are this thoughtful. You will be able to repay him many times over now with all the wonderful food you are going to serve up and it will prove to him the money was well worth spending. Have fun and let us know what you are cooking.

What a wonderful surprise. Have you had any sort of demo? You will certainly be able to cook with no nasties owning a TMX. Keep us informed of your progress.

Thank you
I have been to a demo a while back and I've seen them used by family and friends so I had a fair idea what the capabilities were. I'm having fun playing at the moment and just about to search for something for tonight's dinner.
