brioche scrolls - savoury?
« on: June 04, 2013, 01:29:29 am »
I was thinking of making savoury scrolls and liked the look of the brioche dough. Does brioche suite savoury or only sweet?

Yes,  can use it for either.  It is just a super rich dough with lots of eggs and butter.

I did it and it turned out pretty good. My oven ran a bit hot and they look a bit darker than I would have liked, but great flavour so will try again.

Linda they may have been too brown if they had a lot of sugar in them.
