I checked with DD and she said that as she is time poor she cheats and buys the Miso paste. Sorry we can't help more.

Just found a recipe for Miso soup in the Gluten Free cookbook (page 22) ahoney - do you have that book?

No I don't have the gluten free book thinking of getting it but wanted to know if most of the recipes use soy (unfermented) and dairy as my boys cant have them either and have found this is the case with lots of gluten free recipes
would love the recipe
