New to Thermomix too
« on: March 29, 2011, 09:24:56 am »
Hi everyone,

I received my lovely new machine last Tuesday and have been having such fun cooking with the Thermomix. I made some soup today and actually felt like I had cheated! It was sooooo easy.

Hoping to get lots of tips and recipe ideas.

Hi Hally, welcome to the forum.  Shh, don't tell anyone it is too easy - let them think you have been slaving over a hot stove all day.  Have fun with your machine and enjoy our forum. ;) ;)

Thanks for the welcome posts :)

Just whipped up a risotto for dinner as a Side Dish. Would always have risotto as the main meal, now I use the risotto as a bed for a chicken breast.

Just loving my machine,

Hi everyone,

My lovely husband asked if I wanted to go out for dinner tonight, yeah right I am way too happy cooking at the moment!! I use my thermomix a minimum of twice per day so far.

I am in Perth, WA - are there many of the site from Perth?

Hi gonecrazy - maybe we can help each other out as newbies.

There are plenty from Perth Hally, you'll soon get to know who they are.  Check out this thread, they are in the process of organising another get-together in a park.

Thanks for the info Judy. I will keep an eye out for a Perth get together.

Been busy again with my lovely machine - I cant imagine life without it now.

Just made some ice-cream - so hoping it works out OK - it tasted delicious hot.

So much to make, I worry that we are all going to gain kgs!
