Newbie from the Sunshine Coast
« on: September 25, 2011, 05:19:11 am »
Hi Everyone
My new machine will be here tomorrow or Tuesday at the latest, fingers crossed its tomorrow getting very impatient now.

I am so excited and cannot wait to get started on it. Have been having a look around here the last few days for some inspiration and I have found plenty   :)

Looking forward to cooking, and maybe once I start my husband may finally get over the shock of when I told him how much I spent, the look on his face was priceless and I still giggle at it  ;)

The only decision now is what to cook first???

Hi llogins, welcome to the forum.  I know what you mean about the look of surprise on DH's face, mine was unfazed but other people give that look, you can almost see them gulp  :D  Have you seen CP's list of favourites recipes, great list.

Hi and welcome. My DH was instrumental in me buying my TMX but I certainly get that look from friends. Some have even said "You paid what? Just for a kitchen gadget."
Little do they know what fun it is.
I hope you machine arrives very soon llogins.

Hi llogins and welcome to the forum, most on here could easily relate to your post - both the enthusiasm and your DH's suprise at the cost together with what I refer to as your LMET (life made easy tales!!!!!) Many of us were involved in a similar discussion with the same responses - 'I have had this for ages or I showed it to you when I bought it'. Sometimes the male inability to take notice and listen is a godsend!!!!!  :)  :)
