Hi from the Blue Mountains NSW

Hi I am Deniser. Thank you for the replies to my first question ladies - and I will try the breads you have recommended. What a great forum this is.
A couple of months ago I went along to a demonstration for a workfriend. I went in with the attitude of "huh - I'm not spending that much money on a machine!" and I left two hours later absolutely hooked.
I had not actually ordered my TMX but the following week when my trusty Kenwood Chef (It was only 25 years old too) decided to give up the ghost I rang up Lyn and David and said bring it on down.
I have stuck to the basic recipes just to get used to the machine but have spend quite some time browsing through the forum and getting ideas. At the moment I have another batch of rolls in the oven - my husband loves them and it is just so quick, easy and satisfying to make them myself.
So I am looking forward to many more pleasant exchanges and thanks again for your help.

Welcome Deniser. Sounds like you are off to a flying start with your TMX. Happy cooking.

Welcome Deniser. Imagine your Kenwood giving up after 25 years! I have one in the cupboard that I haven't used for nearly that long. I used to uswe it all the time but then resorted to a hand mixer and then the TMX.

Hi Deniser, welcome to the forum. The attitude you took along to your first demo was pretty well what most people think when they know nothing about the TMX but seeing is believing as you found out. It annoys me when people won't even go along to have a look - they are under no obligation to buy, it is a night/afternoon out being fed all sorts of tasty morsels.
You are going well with your bread - it is the most rewarding of all recipes and it never ceases to amaze me when I take a loaf or batch of rolls out of the oven. Have you seen
CP's favourite list
of recipes - some little beauties on that list.

Well thank you all for your lovely welcome. How nice to make all these new friends without even leaving my own home. And I will have a look at and try CP's recipes. Now I just need to work out how to put a few more hours in the day or even days in the week so as to try all the new ideas that you have all given me.

Welcome Deniser
I enjoyed reading your story, the death of my Mum's kenwood, which I had been custodianof (probably 30 years old!), was central to me taking the plunge and getting a tmx too! You will find the forum a wonderful source of recipes and inspiration.
