Thanks for the warm wishes guys. Im just about to search this page for a trumpet recipe. Never made them before but feel like giving it a go this brisk Sunday morning

Is this the kind of thing you're looking for?  Not a TMX but probably wouldn't take much to convert it . .

Are they what we call Brandy Snaps here in South Australia Thermo_Mum?  I copied a recipe from a Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall book recently which I thought I would convert for the TMX one day.  It looked simple enough to do and I am surprised no-one has done it yet. Will await the outcome of your recipe. I have never heard them called trumpets although looking at the picture of the link GF provided, it looks more like a trumpet than the brandy snap which is a cigar shape.

Haha maybe I should proof read in future before i press send. I meant crumpets lol. But thanks guys! I found a recipe on here by ThermoMixer (I think that's who it is sorry if I got it wrong) and the batter has 1/2 an hour left of sitting before I can cook them. The other half and myself are VERY excited.

At least your typo came up with a word that actually meant something Thermo_Mum    Good luck with your crumpets, I know others have had success with that recipe.
