Newbee from the Central Coast NSW
« on: October 28, 2011, 11:06:22 pm »
Hi all I'm Court, My darling aunt got sick of me borrowing her Theremo mix so has given me one. I'm here to find out more as I have never been to a demo and all I know is learnt from the books.
Cheers

Well you have obviously had a good play with your aunts. This forum will keep you on track. I don't think there is an area or recipe or thought that isn't covered by some wonderful people. I am sure you will love this as much as TMX. How generous is your aunt.
Welcome aboard.

Hi Court, how lucky are you and what a generous, lovely Aunt you have.  You and her will be having many conversations about food and TMX cooking but any questions you want answered, just pop on here and someone will help you out.  There are bound to be basic cooking classes in your area at some time so perhaps go along to one of those too but it sounds as if you already know what you are doing if you have borrow your Aunt's.   Welcome to the forum, you will enjoy your time on here.  Is your Aunt already a member?

Thanks for the welcome ladies, I've had a little play but mainly with basic stuff from the recipe books (they came for holidays as well) I haven't been very succesful converting my favourite recipes yet but now I will continue to try. I am looking at having a Demo of my own in early December as my cousin was given one as well and she has had no experience with it so we thought this would be a good idea.
The kids love the sorbet and I tried the peach champange thing they other night - the only non desert items i have made are playdoh and the beef stroganoff - today I am going with bickies.
Oh and no Aunty didn't know this site existed till I showed her yesterday - she was on here for 2 1/2 hrs so I am sure she will join at some time.

Wow that is so good court, as you will soon realize there are so many great recipes on the forum. I would suggest doing a search through a few recipes that interest you and read the feedback left on them as this is a pretty good indicator of how good they are. I must admit that I rarely try a recipe unless it has good feedback first. Enjoy you very own TM and please ask questions if you need any help anywhere.
