Brownie on Shortbread goodies
« on: November 19, 2011, 07:26:59 pm »
While this recipe sounds really good.

Brownie on Shortbread recipe

I'm mainly posting it so you folks can use the idea.  I have seen several TMX recipes for shortbread and also for brownies.  Has anyone thought of combining the two?

Note that the shortbread is baked first and then the brownie batter is poured over the baked shortbread and the whole thing is baked again.
Sounds good, doesn't it?

I can just imagine how that would taste Andie. It is a lovely idea, especially around Christmas when we tend to get extravagant.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Wouldn't the brownie make the shortbread go soft after a while? Brownies are quite moist.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.
