Organic Shopping
« on: December 04, 2011, 03:48:55 am »
Not sure if this is the right place for my question.

I am about to do an online purchase at an Organic Store. Just wondering what I should buy.

Thank you

Hi DizzyGirl

I am a big fan of organics and I buy as much organic produce and other staples as I can for a family of 5. I order fresh produce, meat  and other grocery items from an online store here in Sydney and I also shop at the local farmers market. I like the quality and taste of organics and am happy to pay extra for that (and the absence of nasties).

My advice would be to buy as much as you can afford of the products and produce that you use. Just make sure you are buying from a reputable supplier. Also I am now very careful about proper storage and minimising waste.

Hope this helps  :) :)  Let me know if you would like more info.

DG have just seen that you are from country NSW so you might be interested in this from Quirky Jo's blog.
