i am a first time mum to be due, in 4 weeks!!! and just recieved a beaut thermo mix!!! its a sweet life so far =)i have been playing with my new toy every day and absorlutely amazed.

Hi Steph, the TMX will be a great when the new bub arrives, it will take care of the watching and stirring for you while you are occupied else where.  Hope all goes well for the birth we will be waiting to hear the news, so don't forget us.  Brenda.
P.S.  Get a few frozen meals put away for those days when things don't go according to plan, get plenty of sleep NOW..  LOL

Hi Steph, welcome to the forum.  Congratulations on both the impending birth and getting a TMX. You have a few weeks to really get to know your machine, stock up the freezer and then sit back and wait for the most joyous event of your life.

Great advise and will be stocking up on those freezer meals!!! will keep all informed. thermo mix is working wonders as it is. the husband already thinks he is being replaced lol

Congratulations on both counts! All I can say is that I wish I had my thermie when I was first weaning my twins onto solids. Now, I have days where being 5 years old now they often drive me nuts simultaneously and at least I can rely on the TM to do what it's told plus  it never ever complains!

Have to agree with the advice- as a mum to 3 kids the ability to get a pre-made meal out of the freezer on a 'difficult' day is fantastic. Makes the early weeks with a new baby much less stressful if dinner is pre-cooked. Your baby will be a summer one which helps a bit as so many meals are quick BBQ types.

I really wish I'd had a thermomix when my kids were small - would have made things so much easier. Good luck with your soon-to-be new arrival and keep in touch with the forum (we love food and babies  ).
