I made a whole heap of chips with my potatoes.  Peeled, cut into chips, par boiled them and then froze them on trays and then into freezer bags.  It's fantastic to just open the freezer put them onto a tray, spray with oil and season and then into a hot oven.

I also now freeze extra mash potato.  For some reason I can't only make a small amount of mash.  So easy and it reheats well.

I'll need to get some more potatoes to make more chips, have nearly finished the ones I did at the start of the year.  My daughter loves chips and these are pretty healthy compared to what you get in the shops and cheap as chips.

I'm looking forward to be getting homemade chips out of my freezer too - no nasty trans fats.
