About to become a new Thermomix mum!
« on: January 31, 2012, 08:16:18 am »
Hi! My name is Sam! We live on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. I have just got off the phone from ordering my Thermomix!! So excited I cannot wait to get it! I am on holidays from Wednesday for 2 weeks so hoping I will get delivery early so I can play with it!! I have been into our local Health food store to look onto buying grains in bulk and found out they have bulk discount day on the first Tuesday of the month so if you place an order by then you can get 20% off your order! Cannot wait to start cooking!

Hi Sam, I'm over at Somerville, welcome to the forum, Where is your local Health food store I have a daughter in Mt Martha and a son in Fingal so I'm all over the place visiting, Somerville doesn't have a Health food shop so I've just been picking up bits and pieces from where ever, like the sound of a discount day.

Hi Sam, welcome to the forum.  Spend the waiting time wisely by browsing the forum and picking out some recipes to try and make sure the house cleaning is up to date - once the TMX arrives, you will have far more interesting things to do  ;)

Thanks for the words of welcome guys! Will definitely be getting recipes together to start cooking as soon as my baby arrives! At the moment I am particularly interested in things I can sent in school lunchboxes as my daughter starts school on Friday for the first time so it's going to be an exciting couple of weeks!

Thanks Sam, I have been to the shop in Hasting, although not for a while.  I will check it out next time I am down here.  I bought a lot of bulk odds and ends at the Indian store in Greens Rd Dandenong.

Welcome Sam. Your daughter will love all the exciting things you will make for her to take to school.
