Carrot dip
500g carrots, peeled and sliced
800g boiled water
2 large garlic cloves, peeled
1 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
40g olive oil
Ground sea salt & black pepper
Dukkah or toasted sesame seeds for topping
Add boiled water to jug, and chopped carrots and garlic cloves into the varoma.
Steam for 20-30 minutes, varoma temp., speed 3, until the carrots are tender.
Tip out jug water, dry jug, and add the drained carrots, garlic, oil, cumin, salt and pepper to jug.
Mix 10 seconds, speed 5. Scrape jug, taste if more seasoning needed, and mix a further 10 seconds, speed 5.
Sprinkle with dukkah or toasted sesame seeds.
