Fantastic tip, thanks.  I missed the emoticons 😘💗👍
As my picture shows, I've suddenly become younger :-)  DD was of the opinion that her picture should be here, not mine!

I just went into keyboard in settings and it didn't say anything about emoji settings :(

Go to settings on your iPhone then go into general then find international keyboard then go into add new keyboard. You should be able to find emoji amongst the list. Tap on that and then you should be able to use it.

Hope that helps.

By accident I just discovered that when your reading unread posts you can tap again on the unread post tab and it changes the view from posts in order of last posted to categories of unread posts (like chit chat, cakes, recipe reviews etc). Not sure if others realized this or I'm just a bit slow lol.

I'm reading this on Firefox on my computer and can't see any emoticons, only square boxes....

I don't know if the majority on here use iPad/iPhone apps or use non-Apple means to access this Forum.   TBH, loads of square boxes instead of emoticons doesn't rock my boat  ;D ;D ;D

Just had a look on itunes to download the emoji app. There are a number of free versions - does it matter which one you download?

I don't think it does matter which one as far as I know. If they are free then won't matter if it dosnt work. Worth a try.
