Hello from SW Vic, Australia!

Hi All, i've had my TM31 since August 2011. LOVE IT! Use it every day!
I'm often looking for quick & easy recipes for the late-planned dinner. One would think with my tmx i'd be more organised with meal planning, but no!
I have gotten alot of recipes off here, i'm about to find them and comment (all of them have been great!)
Would be really interested to meet people with a tmx in my area (I'm in Portland, Victoria).
I'm a 33yo mum of 3 (aged nearly 8, 5 and a 2.5yo). run our own business.
My hubby loves the TM too and sometimes i wonder who uses it more!!! He says i don't need any cookbooks as there's so many recipes online. Like on here!
I'm off to a back to basics class in Mt Gambier next tuesday 6/3. will hopefully pick up somethings i haven't done before.
Pleased to meet you all,
Jolene.

Welcome to the forum Jolene. I have had my TM since January last year and use it pretty much everyday. My DH has not even come close to using the TM. I think he may of turned it off once. It's great to see partners using the TM. My DD is quiet confident at using the TM but that's about it in my family of 7.
Oh and I'm not overly organized with meal planning either. I usually make up my mind the same morning for our evening meal. Some times I will get some meat out of the freezer and not make up my mind till late afternoon. Oh well the family still get feed so that's the main thing.

Hi Jolene, welcome to the forum. It will be great to see all the comments you intend making on all the recipes you have made from the forum - that's what we like to see
Good on DH being involved in the cooking, it leaves you to get on and do other things, you sound like a good team.

Hi Jolene, I also hardly ever plan ahead, I've been enjoying soups the last couple of days the weather having turned cold. I don't care if no one wants to use the TMX it's my baby.

You're so lucky your DH is that keen on the TM. Mine only does mash and smoothies for the kids. Considering how much he loves gadgets, I'm surprised he hasn't taken to it yet (probably no hope now after 18 months) but at least I'm obsessed with our TM, so I guess that makes up for his lack of interest in the cooking part. He doesn't seem to have any problems when it comes to praising and eating the delicious food that I make in the TM though!!!
