ok, the verdict: this was a bit 'puddingy' maybe because i put in too much apple puree! i have only tasted it still warm from the oven, so maybe it will firm up a bit by tomorrow. still tastes good and i will make it again but follow the recipe more thoroughly next time!

Nicky,isn't it too easy,especially at night when tired to put too much in. There is a bit of a delay with my scales,so really need patience and I am usually hurrying!

ok, this now tastes really yummy when i put chocolate icing on, and warm it slightly, (defeats the object of the healthy recipe)
think next time i will just use a normal choc brownie recipe and add raspberries because i do love this combination

Made these today for dessert with friends we had over for dinner - they were a huge hit! Even let DS have his first lick chocolate off the butterfly as a special treat. much to his delight

Yes thanks for revisiting this, JD these are just Divine, I've just finished my second slice. I took some over to the neighbours , got the thumbs up there.   I did have to cook them another 15 min's, also added Pecans, walnuts and some choc. bits.   Seriously yummy.
