Thankyou for all the suggestions. We had a lovely lunch today with some lovely desserts. I ended up making the Guinness chocolate cake as the birthday cake and it turned out really well, so thanks Gert for the suggestion. I used Coopers Stout instead of Guinness.
I also made a lemon cheesecake with a raspberry jelly topping (thanks Amy), Tenia's Crio Misu, Macarons, Chocolate Almond clusters, Easy Apple Tea Cupcakes, and Crio Bru Brownies. There wasn't much left over - one cupcake, some brownies a couple of spoonfuls of the Crio Misu and some birthday cake
