This one doesn't work for me,  but does for many others.  It causes a rash on the second day.

PP, my DH has never had trouble with bought deodorant until a few months ago when he started having huge red splotches under his armpits after using it.  He went without for ages until I finally got around to making this for him.  I think he was quite surprised it worked!  No redness at all.  I know coconut oil is available from health food shops but whether the supermarkets stock it or not, I am not sure.

Pumpie Pie I purchased the coconut oil from the health food shops, didn't find this deodorant overly effective. I was talking to a girlfriend and she told me about this deodorant which you can purchase in Coles or Woolies it doesn't contain aluminium, my DH hasn't had a problem since using this (about 3 months now).

It is in a purple pump spray the brand is Redwin.

I read somewhere recently to use milk of magnesia as a deodorant - I asked at the Chemist Warehouse and they didn't stock it, said try a health food shop.

Milk of magnesia is sold in rollon bottles in the USA as a deodorant. I suspect they must thicken it a bit as the stuff is quite runny from memory (grandma's favorite indigestion treatment).
