New to Thermomix & Forums!!
« on: April 19, 2012, 06:24:50 am »
Hi everyone,

My husband bought me my Thermomix for our third wedding anniversary in March and I am totally in love with it! I have a 23 month old daughter and a 6 week old son and my priority at the moment is losing the baby weight - which isnt easy with all the delicious dessert and baking recipes I am finding  :-\ Everything in moderation right?

Oh and I am also new to forums (first post ever) so I hope I dont stuff this up too badly :P

I am looking forward to having a good search of the recipes and advice on here, my daughter doesnt like to eat meat but Im hoping I can find a few temptations on here!!

Welcome Kath - can only second what the others have said . . . it's a lot of fun on here and the people are the friendliest and most helpful bunch you'd ever meet.  have fun with your TMX - and I'm sure that very thoughtful husband of yours will love using it, too - ;)

Hello and welcome Kath. My DS doesn't like meat either unless it is mince or sausages. So I make some of his favourite meat dishes and freeze them for when DH and I want something else.

Take care and Good Luck losing that baby weight.

Hi Kath, welcome to the forum.  Gosh, a TMX for your 3rd wedding anniversary - your DH will have trouble topping that one for future anniversaries.  With such a young family, you will benefit greatly from this amazing machine, enjoy it and enjoy our forum.

Hi Kath welcome to the forum.

I often think it would have been nice to have had a TM when my children
were small. And even though I have had my TM for several years, I still find it exciting to use.

Happy cooking.

Welcome Kath. What sort of things have you made so far in your TMX?

Hi KathD and welcome to the forum. Why not pop over and enter in the poll so we can keep track of where our members are from.
We have lots of delicious recipes here that our members have kindly posted - and here is my current list of favourites (which needs updating soon) - we also look forward to hearing from you if you have any queries, comments or converted recipes of your own to offer when you get the hang of it.

Welcome Kath. What sort of things have you made so far in your TMX?

Well since my friends have found out I have a TMX I have received quite a few afternoon tea invites....so I have made a lot of muffins and biscuits. My all time favourite so far has been sweet potato & coconut steamed puddings which I found on Recipe Community. Slowly starting to get the hang of thinking "I can make that" rather than buying already processed - like butter, hommus etc
