REVANI - ultimate Greek sponge cake

this is what i would do

Chop almonds, then add  plain flour, semolina flour, baking powder mix for a few sec ,set aside
Without washing the bowl i would make the syrup, set aside

Then i would use the TM pretending it was a  stand mixer  :-))
i don't need a recipe i'm italian

Uni, I am no expert at cake making but GF, have a look at Trixie's Light as Air Sponge Cake recipe on Recipe Community (this is in the Devil of a Cookbook) - to get a light fluffy sponge I think you will need to beat the whites and yolks separately.  This recipe may give you a few ideas.  The syrup is easy enough to do.
