The reason I'm saying maybe copha is I have used copha to make cornish pasties. I like the taste of suet pastry before I knew what it was but I can't get that thought out of my head ! Just not real sure and don't want a failure after all the effort lol
Also, do you remember I told you I would get the recipe for Clootie Dumpling ? My mother in law just makes it on the fly after having made it so many times BUT I do have a recipe now. If you send me your email address I will scan and send it to you. We made it in the pressure cooker the other day ! DH said taste is right but we did have a few problems with cooking time which we have sorted for next time though.
