Good to see they worked out for you Judy.

I've only recently used up the last of these little rolls.  They froze really well and only took a few mins on a gentle heat in the oven to defrost and warm through whenever little rolls were needed with our meal.

I will make more of these as I found them really handy to have in the freezer.  :)

Oh wow, they look fabulous! Definitely making them for tea tomorrow night! Thank you!
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Made these today again as per my comments on Page 1. Just shaped them as I normally do rolls and they are a good sized dinner roll or small lunch roll for filling.

Clever girl. What is the taste like?

I was just looking at all the bread threads and thinking how many different types of breads I now make. It is really unbelievable.

They are a very light roll Cookie and as I love bread, I'm happy with most types. I'm not good at describing bread though, if it looks good it usually tastes good to me :-))  I like to mix it all around a bit too and there are still many more recipes out there to try.

I made this for soup and buns at church, all gone really quickly.  Will make this again and again.

I'm just wondering if this dough would work as a loaf.  Anyone tried it? I have a really big bread tin that I would like to use but have never found a basic recipe to suit.

I did wonder about the amount of flour too. The TM didn't seem to work too hard kneading it though when I made the rolls today (they are lovely by the way). My tin must be the next size up from the 680g.  It is approx 30x12cm.

Another bread recipe to try. These rolls would be great for soups and casseroles etc for dipping. Yum yum.

I made 18 rolls today, hot dog style.

Fantastic for hot dogs, had these as our 2nd course for dinner.

When ds bit into the roll I could hear the crunch. I re-heated them in the oven.

The rest are in the freezer for our next hot dog meal.

Will make a batch for the neighbours. They love German sausage ;D

Thank you

Have made these quite a few times. Just finished last batch from freezer. They freeze well & are great crisped back in the oven.
