Hi, I'm from the northside of Brisbane and purchased a Thermomix a few weeks ago. I have been eyeing it off for years and had a demonstration in November last year. Finally saved enough and been really happy. Mum to two primary aged boys. No special dietary needs but a desire to eat better.
I would read about all the things that people make in a short time of owning a thermomix and didn't think I would be like that. My husband teases me that I like playing with my new toy.
What have I made so far?
Banana smoothies - the boys keep asking for them.
Pumpkin soup
Pizza dough
custard
CADA - I really like this
apple porridge
Quirky cooking's fried rice (yum!)
bolognaise
pastry
chocolate cake
green smoothies
potato and bacon soup
meatloaf
mashed potato
vege concentrate
hot chocolate
butter (mistake!)
vanilla icecream
From that list I don't know if that sounds like I'm eating any better! But it's what's being left out (additives) that I hope will count.
But it's going well and I'll enjoy looking around. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum Joybell, wow you have been busy.
What was the mistake with the butter? Or was you making whipped cream that turned into butter?

Sorry, the butter was a bonus. I was trying to whip cream and listen at the same time to my husband. It doesn't take long to whip!

Lol, no it does not. Only a few seconds difference between whipped cream and butter.

Hi Joybell, welcome to the forum. Quite a list there but you have only just started and that list will grow enormously as time goes on. It's a wonderful feeling feeding the family with good, healthy, additive free food.
