my scales aren't working.... i'm just making the patty cakes on here and no matter how many times i reset them the 220g of butter only came up as half that  :'( :'(
any ideas?

Everyone's nightmare >:( >:( Have you made sure the cord or something isn't caught up underneath (I'm sure you have) as we got told to make sure the TMX was sitting flat or the scales wouldn't work.  Good luck Karen, I feel for you.

We were also told that you had to keep the "feet" clean and that there should be no crumbs etc. on the cupboard.

haha hannah, that was probably it. as soon as i made the cakes i cleaned the whole kitchen down, cursing dh the whole time (he never wipes the benches down and it drives me crazy lol)
