Thanks for that Judy.  :)

Thanks CP for the fabric softener.   :)

I read somewhere that pure vinegar kills weeds so I've had the kids outside today with spray bottles  :-))
Will report back if and when it works.

BHG said pouring boiling water on weeds works too. I keep forgetting to try it. Must give it a go when I next boil kettle.

I use it in the washing machine. Takes the yukky oil and grease smell out of DH work clothes. I also add a scoop (the one from the washing powder) of washing soda in with the washing powder for an extra boost.

I am yet to try a MYO stain removal spray. From memory it was just water and eucalyptus.

CP,  love it,  but have a front loader.  Can I use it in this?  Do I put it in the slot next to the soap powder?

achookwoman, I have a front loader too and have been using vinegar as fabric softener since reading about it on this forum.  I almost fill the little slot next to the detergent, and it works a treat!  When I forget, I have opened up the detergent drawer mid-wash cycle and added the vinegar to the slot, and that works too.
