Free Philips Airfryer app for iPad
« on: June 13, 2014, 03:37:54 am »
There's a new app for airfryer users, filled with recipes and tips. Just downloaded it. Gorgeous pictures, nicely formatted recipes but tips are a bit too brief.

For iPads only though.

Mine is still working, Denise. Just temperamental at times. Needs a smack! 😆

I've tried to download this app but it says it requires iOS 6.0 or later, whatever that means!

It means your iPad does not support the upgraded  operating system. Time to pass your iPad on to,the grand kids and get a new one that takes photos Judy!

IOS is rhe Apple operating system which is up to iOS 7.1.1. Go to Systems on you settings. Look at general. Tap Software update and see the latest your iPad will support. It has worked well for you Judy but it is a dinosaur now.

Get a new one with wifi and 3G . You will probably only need 32GB and we can sort it all out in October. Then get a Telstra SIM card for $180 for one year and you will never have to be without the forum wherever you roam.

We can help you figure it out here.

Thanks for that explanation Gert. I've been thinking about upgrading but as long as it does what I need it to do, I probably won't get rid of it until I have to.  I'm very attached to this one  ;D  I don't need the a/f app anyway.  I will upgrade the iPad and my granny mobile phone, one day ;)  I already have the $180 SIM card so I daresay that could just be swapped over to the latest model.

Yes you can . They cut down the SIM card to fit. Have you updated your operating system on your iPad? You may be  able to do that!

I really don't need it Hally, there are so many recipes out there already for the a/f and I do my own thing anyway.  Thanks for the offer though  :-* :-*
