French to English translation help...
«

Hey everyone!
I've been missing my TM like crazy because its in storage for 2 years, BUT, I'm house sitting in france and to my luck the owner has a thermomix! So excited! The recipe book is in French so I'm translating using google but need a little help.
Does "1 gobelet 1/2 d'eau" mean 1.5 cups of water?
It translates as "1 cup half of water"
Pretty sure it does but it'd be nice to be sure before I start cooking....

Hi Sim, so lovely to see & hear from you - what an adventure you must be having and what luck to find a TMX in the kitchen.

How lucky is that to have the use of a TM while in France.

Thanks everyone... I'm glad I asked.
I'm going to head down to the market today and see what I can find... buying food bits and pieces is so much more rewarding than tacky souvenirs!

Sim so sorry to hear that the weather hasn't got any better than when we were there a few weeks ago. We were told that Europe was experiencing their worst spring since 1941. Hope it gets better soon.
