Nice Bethwood. Would be a busy place then? I miss the shops of Sydney but not the pace or people.

Thanks everyone! After I posted I realised my subject heading was a bit strange :o

Gert, I am very close to Peters of Kensington - I could walk there if I wanted to. It seems like every time I go past it's closed but I hope to make it there soon.

Beth - your guardian angels are looking out for you- keeping the doors closed on you!!  When and if you go, make sure you leave cash, credit cards, chequebook etc. at home!!  It's an absolute minefield!! ;D ;D   I try to even avoid it online!!! ;D ;D

Seriously though, it's an absolutely fabulous store - I'm sure you could do all your personal, birthday, Christmas - and whatever - shopping there - and usually at excellent bargain prices.  Let's know how you go . . . . . . !!
