The thermomix has changed my life :)

Hi all,

I've just joined this forum and it is great! Thanks to everyone who posts and shares info and recipes...as my subject line says, it has changed my life, or at least the way I cook!

I have however, searched high and low for a recipe to cook tapioca. I just cook it plain and add coconut milk / sugar after (it is a Malaysian dessert). I know there is a recipe for tapioca cereal in the book given to us, but I wanted to do it without soaking beforehand as I usually cook it on demand of my 2 year old daughter :)...so I did some experimenting today and it took 23 minutes on reverse + soft speed. Has anyone else tried it and got a different result?

Hi jtw, welcome to the forum.  There are a couple of tapioca recipes mentioned in this thread which may be of interest to you.
