Well done Timtam!  That is so impressive.  When I lost my weight I set myself the goal that if I put on a kg (and it was there to stay) I would immediately set out to loose it.  In the past I would have ignored it and then proceeded to put on another 5kg. I have put on 1.3kg since loosing my weight (not so bad over quite a few months and a horrible Tassie winter) but now I have to loose it.  I am back to exercising each day, have cut out snacks and will count calories next week if necessary.  It is so nice to be taking control and only needing to loose 1 instead of 5+ down the track. :)

When I feel like I put on little weight sometimes I tend to not to weigh myself out of fear since I wouldn't like what I might see
Instead I recently changed that
I weigh myself almost every day
1kg difference is not much they say
You may weigh differently at different hours of the day
Dietitians say to weigh yourself always at the same hour.
It is much faster and easier to get rid of a couple of kgs

1.3kg certainly isn't much but I have noticed it. My work trousers and skirts are no longer feeling comfortable. My weight does fluctuate but only by about 400g throughout each month. I figure if the kg has been hanging around for a month or so it isn't going anywhere without some assistance.  ;D ;D

Wii Fit is a great help to watch closely how your weight changes
It registers your weight on daily basis and you can see how much it changed each day, month and year
There is also graphics
It helps to exercise by playing fun games
If any of you has wii, I'd recommend wii fit plus

There is also fit in six which is not a balance board game. You just copy what the trainer does, it doesn't measure though. There are nice and various exercises from latin dance moves, aerobics to pilates

If you have PS3 move controller, there is an exercising game with Mel B
I tried only once, it seems very promising but to have a better idea I need to play a bit more
PS Move camera scans your body and tells you how precisely you did the exercise
You also use PS move controller
If you have pilates ball, step etc you can add them and there are exercises also for those
It tells you how much calories you've burnt like wii fit
I haven't tried much yet Mel B one

This post looked like a game cansole ad:)
Well if you or your children have any of those consoles, you can take advantage by using them doing some sports

Thanks for your kind words Cuilidh and Chelsea (Thermie Groupie).  I quite agree Chelsea, much easier to shave off one kg than 5kg.  And weighing every day doesn't make eating the wrong things quiiite so easy  ;D.

We currently have a houseguest who is on this diet.  Since Feb she has lost 17kg.  She has absorbed all the rules and says what you're allowed to eat, eg protein, you can have as much as you like.  Fruit is limited because of sugar.  Veges, it depends on the sweetness too.  She enjoys eating a red capsicum like a piece of fruit.  :)

Bodytrim is 1 protein day a week, low carb the rest of the week.
1 free day for 2 meals a week.

It worked for me, till I stopped and the weight found me again.
My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.
