I'm thinking of doing a tiny hamper for each of my brothers this year.  I know one will love everything and try it, but I feel the other may consign it to the bin. I will decide in the next week or two.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Cookie, I think that is a nice idea. The brother who is likely to be unimpressed may like something that you can make.

K Atie, we are lucky to live in the country where there is so much local produce. People are more than happy to share.  We are looking forward to a bumper Apple crop this year.
Glad you like this recipe.

I made a batch of this today. One big jar is for our SIL parents for a Christmas present. Apparently they love the chutney. The other jar is a present for a friends birthday next Sunday.

All my jams, chutneys and Christmas cakes sold out today at the nursing home trading table as did Katie’s beautifully presented cookie ingredient jars.  People really do love these homemade items.
